Paying a company through joia? Check first.

Got a joia payment link? Take a minute to check it before you pay.

A customer checks a payment on their phone
  1. Check the address

Payment links always start with https://pay.payjoia.com/. Watch out for lookalike addresses.

  2. Check who’s charging

The company’s name appears on the payment page. It should match the company you’re buying from.

  3. Check the amount

The amount in reais appears before you pay. Make sure it matches what the company quoted you.

  4. Check who receives the Pix payment

Your banking app shows who receives the payment before you confirm. You’ll see the name of the payment provider listed on the payment page, not the company selling to you. If the name in your banking app is different from the one on the payment page, don’t pay.

  5. If in doubt, don’t pay

Contact the company using contact details you already have, and ask them to confirm the link.

joia doesn’t sell the products or services paid for through its links. For questions about a purchase, contact the company that sent the link.
